If you want to get the best out of Spotify, you will want to upgrade to Premium. This can give you access to more features, including Skip & Shuffle, Offline mode, and an enhanced playlist feature.
‘Enhance’ playlist feature
If you are a Spotify Premium user, you have access to the Enhanced playlist feature. This feature is a new way to curate and enhance your playlists. The Enhance feature will recommend songs that you might enjoy. You can add these suggestions to your personal playlist, and they’ll remain there.
This new feature is available on both mobile and desktop devices. It’s a free service. You can enable the enhancement feature in your settings menu.
While the ‘Enhance’ feature isn’t a replacement for the old ‘Recommended Songs’ feature at the bottom of a playlist, it’s an interesting way to improve your music library. When you turn on the feature, Spotify will analyze your playlist and recommend new songs.
These suggestions aren’t always the best recommendations you’ll receive. That said, they’re a nice way to make your playlists more personal and exciting. However, since these recommendations change daily, you may want to take some time to explore them before relying on them.
To turn on the Enhanced feature, just open the Spotify app and tap the Enhance button at the top of your playlist. After a short delay, the Enhance button will change to a green + sign and you’ll be able to add a song.
Once the song is added, you’ll see a notification that it’s been added to your playlist. If you’re not happy with the suggestion, you can tap ‘Enhance’ again to get a different one.
Adding new songs to your playlists is easy. Just click the plus sign on the side of the playlist. A green star will appear to the left of the song’s name.

Offline mode

While in Offline Mode, you can download up to 3,333 songs on up to three devices. But remember that you’ll need to connect to the Internet again at least once every 30 days. Otherwise, all your songs won’t be downloaded.
The other great thing about Spotify’s Offline mode is that it works with a stable internet connection. Even when you don’t have a connection, you’ll be able to browse the Spotify catalog and listen to the most recent playlists.
You may also be able to download playlists and albums. Just make sure to select those that you’d like to listen to offline. As for the rest, you’ll need to be logged in to Spotify in order to download them.
Spotify offline mode is a useful feature for Premium subscribers. Depending on your subscription, you’ll be able to download up to 10,000 songs.
Skip & shuffle
The shuffle feature on Spotify is a great way to add flavor to your playlists. If you are new to the service, it can help you discover new music. However, it can also be annoying.
